Developing A Champion Mindset In Business

By Jason:

Recently some of my coworkers and I attended a seminar courtesy of the Yes Network, the guest speaker was Gaurav Bhalla. His segment was called “Champion Mindsets, A Prerequisite for Achieving Quantum Leaps in Performance.”

He started off discussing how the world has evolved, mentioning that not even that long ago a lot of businesses could invest their time and money developing new products in order to dominate the market. He specifically mentioned Sony vs. Samsung, saying that Sony focused on creating new products, while at the same time Samsung only had black and white televisions, he then called on people in the crowd; encouraging them to pull out their Sony Discman or Sony Walkman. […]

Don’t let your cash flow take a vacation

Summer is upon us as well as vacation season and long weekends. And for many that can mean a few critical tasks taking a back seat in your business. One regular task in your business that should stay front and center is invoicing and follow ups. Regardless of the time of year.

One of the biggest factors in any business growing is cash flow. Lack of cash flow is responsible for not only stress in a small business but it can cause a business to go under in no time. Imagine, coming back from a nice relaxing vacation only to find you have very little cash in the bank. […]

Great Communication is Key in Business

By Kaylee:

As a CSR at American Profit Recovery I am always trying to improve my communication skills. Last week I was excited to attend a great seminar on tactful communication. One of the great benefits about working at APR is the opportunity to attend the “Yes Network Seminars.” Last week Dan O’Connor spoke about how to get what you want through words, phrases and persuasion. I feel that our ability to communicate with our clients effectively is essential to APR’s success. Most people when they think of seminars think of power points, big white boards and dull and boring information. This was quite the opposite; Dan was able to make his presentation very engaging and […]

Looking back at the past 10 Years….

You may remember some historical events like, Hurricane Katrina, the recession, the 10 year remembrance of 9/11, the election and re-election of the first non-white President, or even the creation of YouTube and Twitter.

You also may remember the deaths of The Crocodile Hunter- Steve Irwin, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Ronald Reagan, Johnny Carson, Dick Clark, Nelson Mandela, and Robin Williams.

While things like Facebook, Angry Birds, One Direction, Harry Potter, AGT, Grand Theft Auto, “selfies” and Duck Dynasty have become all too commonly known; we have been hard at work growing American Profit Recovery.

Let us share some of our accomplishments:

Collection Agency Efforts Echo Those of Niagara Falls Preservation

Recently my family and I visited Niagara Falls for a quick weekend vacation. Being a Buffalo native growing up so close to the falls, I always took for granted what an amazing feat of nature they really are.

I always knew that people have harnessed Niagara Falls to provide electricit048y, but never knew that those efforts are also helping to preserve the falls. Left alone, the falls would erode at a rate of 10 feet per year. Because people have been diverting much of the Niagara River that would eventually reach the summit, the erosion rate is now only about 1 foot per year. In fact, they estimate that […]
