Our Google Reviews Tell a Story

Who would have thought that a collection agency would have such great google reviews?!

Prior to starting at American Profit Recovery back in 2017, I relied on APR’s reviews online to determine whether I would give this company a chance or not. Now, in 2024, the reviews are a tool used across our various departments daily as well as a talking point for potential employees coming in for interviews.

When a sales representative reaches out to a prospect one of the things they almost always mention is our reviews. Some prospects bring it up prior to the sales representative mentioning it, and if not, the sales representative uses it to motivate the prospect. Our clients can see that we have a great reputation and will treat their customers with respect. Our customer service department trains our clients in how to use our system, so that the onboarding process is easy.

During these training sessions they are consistently praised for how thorough their training is and how great their energy is, resulting in great compliments from our clients. Our clients then go out of their way to leave wonderful, five-star reviews for them.

In the department I work in, collections, we use these reviews as a tool when consumers give us compliments for doing a great job, as well as a negotiating tool if the consumer is skeptical about our services. Daily, I speak to consumers that praise me and my coworkers for what a great job we did, and how easy our process was to help them pay off their debts.

I never would have thought a consumer would leave a great Google review for a debt collector—but here we are, almost two thousand 4.9-star reviews in, receiving these reviews almost daily. It is remarkable and makes me feel great knowing that my name is mentioned in some of these reviews, and that I am making a difference to these consumers.

It’s a wonderful thing to be able to help our consumers and clients and get recognized for it, as well as change the perspective on debt collections from a negative light, into a positive. I look forward to the many more reviews to come.
